10 months old!!!

So the dynamic duo are now 1o months old and are full of energy, life, smiles, and laughter. Each month Will and I just sit back and watch them with amazement and thank god for these wonderful little children. It is amazing how different each of the boys are but so similar in other ways. Christopher is like the energizer bunny. He has so much energy and it is near impossible to get him to sit still long enough to change him or bathe him. Will does a wonderful job finding ways to bathe him despite Christopher's attempts to shoot straight out of the tub. Thank god for this since if I was in charge of bathing him...I have a feeling Christopher would be the smelly kid. Christopher has been cutting teeth like crazy and has now started GRINDING his teeth. I can barely stand it when he does it. It is very similar to when someone scratches his nails down a chalkboard. Hopefully this little trick will be forgotten very soon. He now has 3 teeth up top and the 2 on bottom. He seems ready to walk any day and I think he finds a way to speed up his crawling on a daily basis.
Nathan is our laid back child. He just really "goes with the flow". He loves to play but he also loves to sleep. When Christopher wakes up he literally jumps up out of the crib. Nathan on the other hand will just roll around and give you the look like: "Mom, can I just have 5 more minutes?". In contrast to the adventures Will experiences with Christopher on bath nights, Nathan just lays back, relaxes, and enjoys every minute of it. He continues to just have his two bottom teeth and the top teeth are just delaying their appearance for the time being. Will said the other day that Nathan is concentrating on growing all the hair and Christopher is concentrating on growing all the teeth. He always has a great way of viewing things. :-)
One thing the boys are similar in is their appetites!! At the last peds appt about a month ago they were at 10% of the average weight for their age which amazes me based on the amount of food they can put down. We keep wondering where it all goes...well we find that out later but I know we continue to stay very busy making enough baby food to keep up. They also usually hang with us during dinner now and try different things we are eating. Will commented the other day that Christopher is a "fruitaterian" since he absolutely loves his fruit. Nathan on the other hand seems to love everything except for squash which he sprayed all over me one afternoon. We saw the "shiver" the other day with a broccoli ckn casserole so I have learned my lesson...if you see the shiver from Nathan do NOT try to give him that particular food again or you will be wearing it!! :-)
The boys are enjoying spending time with Grandma Jeannie and Grandpa Larry. They drove in from Kansas for July 4th and have been spending the week with us. Grandma and Grandpa bought an AWESOME red wagon for the boys which we tried out the other day. I put a Tupperware container full of cheerios in the wagon for our walk and they had a good time leaving a little trail of cheerios down the street. The boys seem to really like the wagon and I can tell you for sure that we will be using it on a very regular basis. The week has gone way to fast and unfortunately Grandma and Grandpa will have to head back to Kansas way too soon. My heart breaks when they leave and I just pray on a regular basis that they will eventually find a way to move to Florida. :-)
Well, the boys are crashed after a hard day of playing and celebrating their 10 month birthday and Will is snoring beside me so it is time to say goodnight. Have a wonderful weekend and we will post some wonderful wagon pictures very soon!!
Love
Robin, Will, Nathan and Christopher
