Posing for pictures

Sometimes we think back to when the boys were infants and how easy it was to pose them for pictures.  Not that we want to return to those days, but it certainly was easier in some respects.  We anticipated that as the boys got older that it would be harder to get a good picture of them without a professional's help.  Fortunately, we found the key is to get a camera with a fast shutter.  Below are a series of pictures of them as we attempted to get a decent picture for Christmas cards before we finally found the one we could use.

They generally start off calm enough, but not really willing participants.

Usually, we can get them to cooperate a little bit more if we ask them to give each other hugs.  Unfortunately, that only creates a short window of time before it breaks down into chaos with giggling and wrestling involved.

Then there is always the issue of the boys wanting to bring props into the picture.

Sometimes changing locations helps.

However, we also have the problem of both smiling properly at the same time.

Christopher has developed the habit of the Cheshire Cat grin and Nathan just laughs uncontrollably.

Sometimes they decide to just start dancing!
