Amazing how fast time flies. I think we say it every year when the boys celebrate their birthdays. This year, we gave the boys an option. Either they could celebrate with a weekend at Disney World or we could have a party with a big water slide...again. Well, the boys decided on the party.
Once again, we rented a big water slide. This one was a little different though. It was called the double dip. It was 18' tall (rather than 16' tall) and had a little dip in it that allowed the boys to catch a little air whenever they hit the bump. Unfortunately for adults, even though the slide was taller, it was also shorter, which meant that with enough momentum (i.e. jumping off the top of the slide), a person could flip right out of the slide...well or at least Will could do it. It was very interesting to see the differences in reactions though between the boys and girls. The boys wanted to flip out as well...the girls meanwhile wanted nothing further to do with the slide.
The theme for the party was Super Heroes!

| This is Christopher with a Batman mask. |
| Nathan is Spider Man! |
| Going down the slide with daddy. |
| Christopher and Bryce on the slide. |
| Nathan with his friend Caroline. Caroline, Nathan and Christopher are in school together and evidently have become the three musketeers. |
| Naturally Christopher decides to go down face first. |
| Nathan needed a break in the middle of all the fun. In fact, he even went up for a short nap in the middle of the party. |
Time for Cake!
Just as in years past, we got the boys individual cakes. They picked out the colors.
After cakes it was time to hit the pinata. It was an Iron Man pinata...kind of odd though since that makes all the kids bad guys beating up on Iron Man right?
Then it was back to the slide!
| Christopher going down the slide with Phillip. The boys enjoy calling him Fillmore though for some reason. Phillip is a good sport though and just rolls with it. |
| Nathan chilling with Abby. |
| Gabe looks like he had a great time on the slide. |
| As did Tyler. |
| The dynamic duo! |
| An actual family picture! |
We had a chocolate fountain for the party.
Fortunately, Christopher didn't notice it until the end of the party.
At the end of the night after the party, we let the boys open their presents. Needless to say, they were spoiled and had a great time.
| Captain America! |
| I am Hammer Man (better known as Thor)! |
More Legos!
As you can see the boys had a great time and are already making plans for their next birthday.

HAH! Love it. Looks like they were opening presents all through the night. haha You can tell the sun came out on the later ones. Glad they had fun. :) Crazy that they're 4 already!
Oh yeah...forgot that we let them open presents from the party at night, then they opened the presents from us in the morning. It sure felt like they opened presents all night though. :-)
