What do the boys do when mom is out of town?

ROADTRIP!!!

 

Dad and the boys took a trip to Gainesville.  It wasn't their first trip to Gainesville, but it was the first time the boys had a chance to visit the stadium where the Gators play!  The Gators had an away game, so it was a perfect opportunity to check out the stadium without the crowds.

 

What do you look for when you are at a stadium called the Swamp?

 

A Gator!

 

Naturally, part of the stadium was a store to go shopping.  Let's just say, the boys did quite well on their Gator merchandise.

 

 

After shopping, it was time to check out the stadium.

 

First we checked out the lower level.

Then it was time to check out the nosebleed seats.

 

Then it was time to find more Gators!

 

Finally, it was time to meet Spurrier, Wuerffel, and Tebow!

 

At this point, the heat was starting to get to Christopher so he wasn't as enthusiastic about taking pictures.

 

Nathan was a trooper though and wanted a picture with each Gator Heisman winner!

 

After the visit to the stadium, it was off to a quick visit with Steve and Anna and their new pup Ringo.

 

After the puppy visit, it was time for a quick lunch, then off to the Florida Museum of Natural History!

 

Here we are checking out the butterfly exhibit.

 

Nathan tried very hard to sit still so a butterfly would land on him, but every time a butterfly got close, let's just say Christopher didn't handle it quite as well.

 

Then it was time to check out the other exhibits in the museum.

 

Naturally, the boys favorite exhibit aside from the butterflies was in the interactive kids section.

 

They loved this little contraption that blew articles into the air.

 

 

The trip appears to have been a success and the boys have since been asking when they get to go back for a game, so another road trip will likely be planned in the near future...preferably when it cools off though.
