Ok, so I just blogged a few nights ago but we had a bloggable moment last night that has to be documented. If you are grossed out by bodily functions, stop reading now and just wait for the next post. Hopefully if all goes well, the next post will not have any nastiness in it. :-)
Now for my brave readers: As I have mentioned in previous posts, we are working slowly on potty training. Christopher has taken to sitting on the potty much more than Nathan before bath time so we continue to encourage this as much as possible. Last night we started the same routine we have every night. Step 1: A little bit of wrestling and chasing them in the room in attempt to get them to take off their shirts since they have now decided to refuse baths. Once we are victorious with this step, the boys are quick to take off their shorts and help each other remove the diapers. They love this part since they now have figured out how to open the trash can and throw the diapers away. This is great as long as there is not a "surprise' in the diaper. Once the diapers are in the trash the race begins: Christopher is the fireman of the Li household, he seems to always find a way to pee on the carpet. (carpet cleaning is definitely in the near future) We get him on the potty and then it is time to go swimming in the tub. Well, last night I just had this strange feeling something was off as we completed the potty routine but I ignored that little warning voice and put him in the tub. Everything was going well and then he grunted and giggled and a baby ruth appeared in the tub. GROSS!! Nathan was playing with his toys like nothing happened and I am running around trying to figure out what I can use to fish this nasty thing out. Later we asked Christopher who was the little boy who left a stinky in the tub and he shot up both hands with a huge victorious smile. Only little boys would be proud of reaching this milestone right? haha
Hopefully this will be the first and the last time for the Christmas poo to make an entrance in the tub.

hahaha. Niiice.
whoo! 2 nights 2 posts! :D exciting stuff.
Awesome. For some reason, my twins haven't tried that little trick at our house. Meg has, however, blessed my parents' bathtub on occasion. :) And there's nothing wrong with blogging about bodily functions...anyone with kids can totally relate...anyone without kids can certainly learn for future reference! :)
