We went last year during our visit to Kansas but the boys seemed to enjoy it so much we decided to take them on another train ride again on the Abilene and Smoky Valley Railroad. Uncle Jim is on the steam crew, but this time he didn't have to work and was able to hang out with us during the ride.

Once we returned from the train ride, the boys got the opportunity to ride in the engine!
Needless to say, this was the highlight of the train ride and the boys had a great time.

Love it! haven't seen a picture of them wearing the outfits .. er I mean... uniforms in bright daylight. :]
