The boys had a great Easter and enjoyed all the associated festivities. While Easter bunnies and egg hunts are fun, it is also nice that we are now able to talk to them about the true meaning of Easter and what the day is really about.
Here are pictures from the boys' Easter party at school. It was the Friday before the start of spring break so it was a nice way for them to start a week off of school.
Here are pictures from our community event called the Spring Fling, the day before Easter. The event was rescheduled from the week before due to weather so turnout was low and there weren't as many slides as originally planned. The boys still had a good time doing an egg hunt though.
Here are pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Day that we have in our backyard. This year they collected the eggs faster than it took the Easter bunny to set them out!
Counting their eggs...in case you are wondering, yes, they were filled with quarters instead of candy.
