Deep Thoughts...

As the boys grow, we have noticed that at this point, Christopher always seems to be the more serious of the two and is often in deep contemplation. He also makes more grunting noises than Nathan. Nathan smiles more and we refer to him as Mr. All or Nothing. He is either perfectly content and smiling or he is in full blown cry mode. Christopher tends to build up to full cry mode and will often go several minutes in grunt and whine mode.

We have decided that what is going on, is that Christopher is in deep thought and likely has answers to some of life's biggest issues, such as the cure for cancer, ending world hunger, world peace, renewable energy resources, etc. However, he can't articulate his thoughts which frustrate him, which leads to the grunting and whining.

We can only hope that he still remembers all the solutions he has come up with to solve life's big issues by the time he learns to talk and doesn't get distracted in the meantime.
