This year we decided to do our visit with Santa early in an effort to avoid the crowds. After having to wait over an hour in 2010 and about 30 minutes in 2011, this year's wait was only about 5 minutes. Only problem was that the boys were just waking up from a nap in the car so Christopher was a little less than enthusiastic about taking pictures.
The result? Pictures like this:

Fortunately, one of the benefits of no lines to see Santa, after a lap around the mall and checking out some of the stores, Christopher warmed up and did much better on the second visit to Santa.

This one would have been the perfect picture except that Christopher's shirt is missed up so his collar looks like its misaligned.
This picture would have been our second option, but Santa's eyes are closed.
We even considered going with this one since you didn't see any of their eyes.
At the end though...this was the final picture we selected.
Santa was a great sport and did a silly face with them.
Although the pictures weren't perfect, we still enjoyed our visit with Santa. For anyone looking to do pictures with Santa in Jacksonville, we highly recommend the Santa at the Avenues Mall. He was really patient and nice. It seemed like they were still working out some of the kinks, but the staff was nice too.
