Today, Nathan and Christopher had their four month checkup with the pediatrician. Christopher has been eating considerably more than Nathan lately, so we were somewhat expecting Christopher to pass Nathan in weight. The results:
Christopher weighed in at 14 lbs 11 oz, while Nathan weighed in at 14 lbs 15 oz. Otherwise, the boys had identical measurements in head circumference, 16.25 inches and length, 24.75 inches, and generally fall within the 50th percentile for all their measurements, which is pretty awesome since they were a month premature.
In addition to getting updated measurements, the boys also had to get their next round of vaccinations. Although neither one of them liked the needle, both took it like little troopers and only cried briefly upon the initial shot, but quickly stopped crying once in the reassuring arms of mom and dad.
