Chicago Part IV

So the final segment of pictures from Chicago are those taken at the Chicago Children's Museum at the Navy Pier.  We kind of stumbled across this place while checking out the Navy Pier and almost passed on it because of the admission fee, but decided to go ahead and try it.  It was a great decision and well worth the price of admission. 

The first thing Christopher saw and wanted to try was a ship that required climbing up a 20 foot rope ladder.  Nathan wasn't too eager to try it out so the first time Christopher went by himself.  The boys referred to this as a pirate ship.

Waiting in line.  His cousin Danielle, who lives in Chicago was with us so she was a great sport and went along just in case.

This picture gives a sense of what the ladder looks like and how high up it goes.

As you can see, Christopher made it up without any trouble, so the next go round, Nathan decided to give it a shot too.  They both enjoyed this thoroughly and went up the ride several times.

In addition to the pirate ship there was a fire truck!

One of the other neat features was a section called "Water Ways" which allows the boys to play with water and see how different water ways work.
