This summer we decided to venture back to the Magic Kingdom. However, we decided to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios this time since we haven't been there yet and read that there was a cool Toy Story ride as well as an opportunity for the boys to meet Lightening McQueen and Mater. We had a good time, but apparently the boys decided they have moved on from Toy Story and Cars because they weren't nearly as excited as we thought they would be. In some ways, that was probably a good thing, because the new Toy Story ride is 4-D ride and the wait was over an hour long. Even when we got a fast pass it was still three hours later before our window of opportunity, so if the boys would have really been crazy about Toy Story still we would have only had a chance to ride it about twice and spent the entire day at Hollywood Studios. As it was, they were very satisfied with riding it once and then they wanted to move on to the Magic Kingdom. Anyways, here are some pictures from our trip.
The attraction for meeting Buzz and Woody was pretty neat because they designed some nice distractions for kids. They built scenes from the movie where you could take pictures.

Finally time to meet Woody and Buzz!
 |
| Christopher decided that he didn't want to pose with Buzz and Woody. |
The boys were surprisingly very interested in a behind the scenes movie tour where they show you how some of the special effects are created. At the end of the tour, was a "museum" of villains.

| Checking out Indiana Jones' hat. |

| Meeting the characters from Monsters Inc. |
One of the boys favorite attractions was the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure.
For lunch we found a place that was designed like a drive in movie theatre.
After lunch it was time to meet Mater and Lightening.
We weren't as good about taking pictures at the Magic Kingdom so all we have are these pictures of Nathan and Buzz. Yes, he wanted to meet him again even though he just met him earlier in the day. I think we went on the Buzz Lightyear ride about 5 times that day. A portion of the new Fantasyland also re-opened and the boys loved the Goofy Roller Coaster Ride and the Dumbo Ride, which is much better designed since the line runs through an air conditioned tent instead of making you just stand outside in the heat for an hour. We will try to do a better job of getting pictures at the Magic Kingdom next time since I am sure we will be back plenty more in the future.
