Cabin Fever

For those of you not in the area, this week we experienced Tropical Storm Fay. It really wasn't too bad. It brought some much needed rain, but that deal also came with wind gusts up to 50 mph. However, for precautionary reasons, most offices downtown closed early Thursday and all day Friday. Robin's doctor's appointment on Friday also got cancelled, but fortunately, she didn't go into labor mid-storm, since that would have been a fun drive into town. For those of you in the area, hope you didn't suffer any damge.

So with TS Fay in town, we (or really I, since it wasn't really that big of a change for Robin) had extra time at home, which in the abstract is great, expect when you realize there really isn't anywhere to go and anything to watch on tv. Which led to...

Putting together one of the swings for the twins...

Unfortunately, that only took 30 minutes or so, so afterwards, it was time to practice putting on diapers using Pooh Bear as a model...

That was a piece of cake and not even smelly. I suspect putting diapers on the twins will be even easier. However, we can't let our kids run around the house with just diapers on, so then we started trying on clothes...

The first outfit Pooh Bear tried on was a Kansas State t-shirt that Grammy bought for the twins. For those of you who don't know, Robin went to Kansas State for her undergraduate degree. We expect Grammy will bring some Kansas University (that's where Robin went to pharmacy school) outfits for the twins when she visits in September.

However, we all know that THE school in this household is...

THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

Pooh Bear liked it so much too that he decided to keep it on. I suspect we may have to buy a new set for the twins so as to not get Pooh Bear upset. As you can see, he is now hanging out in his University of Florida outfit all the time now...

So now that TS Fay is out of town and heading to the panhandle, we are cleared to go out again. Let's just pray that Fay was our strom for the year and that Gustav (or any of the other subsequent storms) don't decide to form and head our way.

Until next time...

Will, Robin, Baby B, Baby A, and Pooh Bear

Poor Ralph, doesn't know what's about to hit him, does he? :-) Poor Will, he probably doesn't either!

You are looking beautiful, Robin! Keep up the notes & the pictures...you all keep me laughing!

Much love & many prayers coming your way!
