Yesterday, the boys had their visit with the pediatrician. Nathan, who weighed 4 lbs 15 oz at birth (with the same weight last Friday after leaving the hospital), now weighs in at 5 lbs 10 oz. Christopher, who weighed 4 lbs 15 oz at birth (but weighed 4 lbs 10 oz last Friday), now weighs in at 5 lbs 3 oz. Both have also grown approximately 2 inches and now measure 20 inches in height. So as of now, Nathan is the hulk of the two, but Christopher is working hard to catch up.
The doctor was very pleased with the progress of the boys and said that we can slowly start weening them off of formula and just go with breast milk.
Below are some pictures from their first bath taken at home last week. It should have merited its own post, but we were too tired to do it that day. Christopher is in the first two pictures and Nathan is in the second two.
Oh yeah, doctor also said that both boys have advanced from sponge bath to full blown baths where we can submerge them in water.
